There Is A Difference Between A Demagogue And A Populist

However, I do think The Donald falls closer to a demagogue.

That doesn't mean that his supporters aren't Populists. In fact, I think MOST of them are.

It all comes down to refusing to believe that your political opponents are DEMONS.  If, instead, they are people, who disagree with you for reasons NOT related to their EVIL, then you can "agree to disagree", and co-exist.

If, on the other hand, they are ONLY motivated by RACISM, BIGOTRY, and HATRED, then you shouldn't co-exist.  You must annihilate them.  Which, unfortunately, too many people are willing to do.

The real question is:  are Americans willing to talk to each other, rather than scream at each other?  Will each side look at the FACTS, rather than revert to talking points.  I'm talking about looking at what has actually happened, not what you are told by politicians.

Fact:  Obamacare is a failure.  The only way it sorta-works is by blatantly ignoring the law, and making up regulations that ignore the law.  The link is Forbes Magazine - you may not like them, but they are a reputable mainstream media site.

Fact:  Illegal immigration primarily benefits the moneyed classes.  It has led to unprecedented levels of unemployment in the Black community.  The COST of illegal immigration hurts community hospitals and schools, and average working people, while the BENEFIT is to the employers - both corporate and individual - that preferentially hire them.

Fact:  Fraud in government programs is HUGE.  It needs to be stopped, before it bankrupts us.
Fact:  Too many schools, from k-12 to college, are under the control of Leftists.  They deliberately indoctrinate students, give them credit for providing unpaid help to Leftist causes, and use THUG tactics to shut down dissent.  They are creating a legion of Credentialed Brownshirts.

Fact:  The current "Rape Crisis" is WAY overblown.  Men have had their RIGHTS to due process, legal representation, and assumption of innocence taken away.
