Miscellaneous News and Topics

This is getting to be a "thing" on this blog. I find a lot of loosely connected, or even unconnected stories, and put them all into a single info dump. It seems to work for me.

First, an essay on the state of the Ukraine-Russia War; it does point out the biggest problem with keeping old guys in power - they tend to return to outdated thinking.

I've been reading The Z-Man for some time, sporadically. His thinking, in this case, seems to make some sense. That it is not widely supported by the Official News Media is a positive point - their POV and mindset is hopelessly outdated, biased, and driven by partisan hacks.

His previous post, on the crisis posed by the continued propping up of an incompetent, and probably mentally deficient, *resident, is one that needs to be read, and shared - on social media, email, and face-to-face. That would also include the tried and true method of printing out a copy or two of the post, and leaving it on tables in public places, or attaching it to bulletin boards around town. Sneaker-net still works, you know, and is harder to stop. Old-school rebellion toppelled many a dictatorship.

Another means for bringing down the oppressive regime is, again, old-school, yet has the advantage of also serving as a way of identifying and enabling the work of allies.

By this, I mean, sowing disruption among the Woke. Pass on the word to a non-allied person that you've heard, from someone that you cannot name, that a certain Woke person is the victim of a campaign to get rid of 'them'. From the reaction (gleeful, horrified, skeptical, whatever), you can decide whether to confide in them further, or to downplay the info as "probably fake news". Get to be known as the guy who just happens to hear things from other people. This keeps you from being the person who is the source. It's important that BOTH sides have some trust in your gossip.

Be warned - this is a LONG-term project. It is not without some danger, but less than sitting on the sidelines, and pretending that you aren't surrounded by your enemies.

This is the method used by the Woke; there is no reason that we cannot turn it upon them. Look to their tactics, copy them, and use them.
  • Pre-emptive strike - this is one that makes a BIG deal out of a very small offense. It works best if you can frame it as a strike against you for classist reasons. Loudly proclaim your low-born heritage, accusing them of acting against an individual from an impoverished background, family substance abuse, connection (however distant) from one of the identified groups, and pointing out their Elite background. Don't make this your initial attack, but gradually build your story, bolstering it with DNA discoveries (just about EVERY family has some connection to other ethnicities, disreputable ancestors, or poverty/oppression). Make sure others are aware of this, and have THEM bring up the connections, should you face opposition.
  • Fake sympathy - this is a classic tactic. Undermine someone by pointing out their weaknesses - gambling, chemical/alcohol abuse, mental instability (of the kind that might prove them a poor ally). For men, subtly ask some questions that would lead the listeners to conclude that there is a lurking problem with 'handsiness'. Poo-poo the possibility, in exaggerated terms, leading those listeners to wonder whether there is some truth to it.
  • Be the one that just 'happens' to pass on catty gossip about someone they are in competition with. This is the classic "divide and conquer" maneuver.

It's about the push to keep ANY non-Leftist out of the decision-making process.

The Left has long, and very powerful tentacles. They have entwined themselves with failing industries (media, entertainment, schools, large city governments), and leveraged what money they have to propping them up. As a result, those failing institutions are hooked on the money drug, and "forced" to go along with whatever the Money Pimps dictate.

We will have a long, and very hard fight to win - but, win we must. We're like Frodo and Sam in the valley, heading to the destination to destroy The Ring. In some ways, it's my least favorite part of the story. It's depressing, they are both exhausted (as is the rest of the Fellowship in their journey), and it seems as though they are making no progress.

But, that's wrong. It's when you are continuing the fight against a powerful and seemingly invincible opponent, that you develop the inner strength to win. It's like the process of building bigger muscles - everytime you lift a weight, you experience the pain. After, you are in an agony of soreness, and to even think of picking up the weights again the next time is unbearable.

Those that fail on that journey give up when it is painful and seemingly futile. Only those that persist will experience the joy of winning.

This is a battle that will likely take us most of the rest of our lives (if not beyond that time). The enemy has been burrowing in for more than a century. It should not be surprising that a quick victory is not possible.

It's no surprise to me that The Lord of the Rings trilogy was made in recent times. Nor that Rush Limbaugh achieved his success when he did.

It was meant. It was a part of this long process of uprooting and vanquishing the Evil of The Left. Those things happened when the time was right.
